Love these fresh flowers. I was tempted to pick up some of the same flowers from last time (a mix of scarlet, yellow and white pom pom mums) but decided to mix in a little something different today. I stuck with the yellow mums but grabbed a bundle of what the store told me was aster (I don't think it is, as it looks more like rust and gold-colored baby's breath). I especially appreciate how it cascades from the vase in many directions. Plus, the colors seem cheerful but cognizant of the cooling weather (and the warmer/burnt colors that accompany it).
The two bouquets (plus some still alert fresh daisies from my last flower run) were enough for three vases.
